For me, winning the London International Piano Competition in 2009 meant a major career break on the international scene. Performing Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 3 in the Grand Final was an experience I will never forget. There is no other competition which offers contestants such exposure in various concert halls and the prize of working with a major London orchestra, it was tremendous. Sulamita Aronovsky‘s organization of the competition and the resulting prizewinners concerts was exceptional, and her advice in the years since has been invaluable.
